Constantly orbiting Babylon 5 and the surrounding space are dozens of maintenance robots. Each unit can be set on automatic, although almost all are remotely controlled via telepresence/VR hookups. All ‘bots constantly transmit their location and video feed to a central command post within the station. Their primary function is to monitor and repair the exterior hull of the space station. However, over the years the command staff has used these 'bots for less mundane activities (such as using one as a decoy to fool a Berserker probeship).
