"They were here. I can feel their footprints in the sand. Hear their words whispered in the wind. It's beautiful. They're coming back again. Soon." - Commander Susan Ivanova, 2260 |

HISTORY: They are a member race of the First Ones. At some point in time, the Vorlons and Walkers (and perhaps other First Ones) disputed. The point of contention has not been resolved yet. In 2260, the Walkers were contacted by the White Star to aid them in the fight against the Shadows. They eventually agreed to aid the Army of Light. Above anything, they were amused by the small ship and crew getting in their face and standing their ground. Another reason for giving their aid was the mention of Vorlons. At the final battle of the Shadow War, the Walkers were instrumental in destroying several Vorlon and Shadow war vessels. And like the rest of the First Ones, left with Lorien beyond the veil. |
HOMEWORLD: Sigma-957 (?); This is where they can be found. Scans made by the Great Machine indicate a vast city-complex under the surface covering most of the planet. |

TECHNOLOGY: Ultratech; Walker ships appear to use a type of hyperflux when jumping into or out of hyperspace. Their gigantic ships have a power draining field around them. |

NOTES: When I interviewed the former Narn ambassador,G'Kar, in 2258 about the Walkers (who, I was told, had some experience in that contested area of Narn space), he said this: |
||||||
"There are things in the universe billions of years older than either of our races. They are vast, timeless ... They are a mystery, and I am both terrified and reassured to know that there are still wonders in the universe-that we have not yet explained everything. Whatever they are, Mister Voltayre, they walk near Sigma-957. They must walk there alone." |
